WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN WATTENS – Severe weather wedding celebration at Speckbacherhof

I had the pleasure of accompanying Marie and Fabian as their wedding photographer for their church wedding in Wattens on a hot day in July. Marie is from France and Fabian is Austrian, which means that Maries family and friends traveled all the way from France to attend the wedding.

Before the ceremony, we met in a nearby forest above Volders for wedding photos and the couples first look. After creating beautiful memories together, we headed to the Laurentiuskirche in Wattens for the church ceremony, which was held in both French and German.

After the ceremony, the couple drove in Maries fathers vintage car to the celebration at Speckbacherhof in Gnadenwald. While the guests enjoyed coffee and cake on the terrace, a severe summer storm with strong winds and hail suddenly approached. Despite the rain, the mood wasn’t dampened, and the celebration was quickly moved indoors, where it continued with dinner and dancing.
